Message	I just purchased a 300zx and I noticed I have a slight grind on 2nd gear and its hard to get into first gear when car is in motion ( I have to be going really super slow to shift, if not, I have to be stopped )...anyways I dropped the transmission because I'm pulling the engine...One thing I noticed is that the rubber mount that the link assy bolts on too is cracked (the 12 mm nut right behind the shifter)...from my experience...grinding comes from a misaligned shifter (never the synchros) misaligned shifter can happen from worn motor mounts or worn bushings or in this case worn bracket rubber...for those of you who ever had a 2nd gear grind, if I could get input on the condition of your guy's rubber mount (you can examine it from inside the car underneath the shift console) i would appreciate it...
